sunday has always been my favourite day.. it's the only day in the week where i get to indulge myself of the things i love doing the most. i can be lazy the whole day, eat everything i want, bond with my friends and family, read books, watch movies, and my most favourite of all: watching variety and talk shows on tv. and that's what i did today. :) the WHOLE day. yes, and it made me really happy because i don't have to think, i dont have to conceptualize. i just have to relax and enjoy that one day "buhay baboy" of mine and i had so much fun. :)
last night, i wasn't feeling well. i had a headache and i still had it until morning that's why i didn't go to church (i know, futile reason but really, i don't feel good at all so i'm sorry i didn't go to church. i'm guilty, ok? okay..:p) i just have to explain myself kasi.. oh well, moving on, i got up from bed around ten in the morning. we had konting chika then i watched just go with it again in dvd because it's just so hilarious :) :) then at 12pm, it's my personal joy to watch party pilipinas!! yay. i'm such a fan. :) i really enjoyed the show and i had fun watching. i especially love julie anne san jose's performances. i'm her fan eversince she started but after watching her perform today in the opening prod, my love for her grew really stronger. she's so effortless, she's perfect, and she's really, really beautiful. 3 upbeat songs with a rap performance and she still had the strengh to dance??! wow. as in wow. her performance today really blew me away. i really love her!

what i also love about today's show is that regine velasquez is live in the pp studio! you know how much i looove her. plus alden richards (my newest crush), oh my gosh he's sooo gwapo. he can be the next aljur abrenica (another love of mine) ;) i just love their performances. i love the energy in party pilipinas and i will always get excited when sunday comes because of this. hay, the show makes me so happy talaga kaya i love sundays all the more! :)
serious stuff.
in between watching party pilipinas, i was watching also the investigative documentary in gma news tv about the sangguniang kabataan issue where i learned that the governemtt is spending 3 billion pesos for the sk funds. what the heck! 3 BILLION PESOS?! where did that go? sa mga pa-liga sa barangay tuwing fiesta? i have a strong opinion about this because i, myself, is a kabataan and i didn't feel that 3 billion at all. wala akong nakikitang proyekto na may tatak sk. it's just so sad because at such an early age, natututo yung mga kabataang leaders na maging corrupt. nagagamit ang leadership ng mga kabataan sa maling paraan. it's just so wrong. i watched there also that some sk officials spent 500,000 for a trip to palawan where they finalize their projects for their barangay. 500k for that trip?? it's too much and i feel fury for that. ginawang business with pleasure ang perang para sana sa mga kabataan. hay naku. trapo in the making.
so i agree to former senator pimentel that sk has to undergo major reformations, not naman to abolish agad but change lang what's wrong in the system. like the qualifying age, they should be at least 21 to 25 year olds because really, anong magagawang pagbabago ng mga 16, 17 year olds? i'm not underestimating them but kasi nag-aaral pa nga naman sila at hindi naman lahat ng sk officials nasa barangay nila palagi. talagang lahat sila halos wla palagi sa mga barangay nila so how will they know the problems of their kabataan's there? some sk officials only made their presence felt though tarpaulins and it isn't enough because can tarpaulins help in the progress of their barangays? hell, no. so hopefully the aquino administration will do something about it because 3 billion is not a joke, it's really disturbing.
anyway, that's a lengthy opinion of mine and okay, let's move on.. :)
after taking a short nap, it's tv time again! every sunday, i do indulge myself watching tv because i only get to watch tv in weekends so sunday is always tv day for me. maghapon at magdamag talaga yan. ;) anyway, ayun tsismisan time na! my remote is fixed in showbiz central and the buzz but in between also, i watched aljur abrenica in follow the star. because i love him, i watched how he spends his days offcam and i learned so much about him. i saw how he works really hard to achieve that chiseled body and how he likes to really improve his voice. you can say that he's serious in improving his craft and that earned him million points in my heart. naks! he's really into performing so he likes to know what's lacking him and he's attending workshops so he can achieve his many goals in his career and i really like that about him. another thing that made me love him even more is his close relationship with his family. sobrang nakakatuwa how he makes lambing with his father and his siblings. sobra talaga akong natuwa sa kanya. panalo siya sa pamilya kaya siguro ang bait bait at sobrang blessed siya kasi he has a grounded family background and that made him so cute. i love him all the more! i love follow the star kasi ang dami kong natututunan about stars that we don't usually see on tv and i appreciate the genuine approach of the stars in the show. and next week, i'm excited to follow bianca king's life off cam. looking forward to it. :)

i'm not the biggest fan of toni as a host and actress but as a celebrity in a relationship, isa siya sa mga hinahangaan ko talaga. direk paul is soooo gwapo and toni is one lucky girl. i really find them perfect for each other, they are the best for each other and whenever i saw them on tv, it made me believe once more that true love waits and that even though toni is a hard to get girl, direk paul reallly made the effort to woo her and her family. grabe ang haba lang ng hair niya. and i'd like to believe that it can happen to me also. that even though i'm the worst hard to get girl ever, there will always be that someone who will go out of his way and will make an effort to claim my "yes". di ba? we have to believe in that. ang galing lang kasi you can really feel that they are into each other. i feel so kilig about the two of them and i'm really happy for them. their relationship is so inspiring for me because they keep on saying that God is at the center of their relationship and i'd like my future relationship to be like that also. God-centered and has mature and pure emotions.
hay love. may famous quote nga si sjp tungkol diyan di ba? "And we were dressed from head to toe in love... the only label that never goes out of style."
i like that. and i love this day because i get to blog again!! yay. i've been uninspired for quite a while and i'm glad to be back. kaya pasensya na, napahaba ang pagka-miss ko sa aking personal life blogging. hopefully more of this this in the coming months. :)
