whatever happened to me this summer.

• okay, it's been a while since i last share what has been going on in my life these days. well, let's start at what happened the first few days of april. our office relocated to a much nicer and fresher environment and i'm happy with where we are right now. new home, new life! still happy as ever. :)

• o: then a very exciting thing happened to me.. gosh! so unexpected.. i didn't know why it happened but oh well, i'm happy.. my heart is healthy. and yes, finally after five years, this is it. :) ♥

• newest inaanak. it was a happy celebration because we were almost complete. we talked about everything - from past, present to future. being with my best friends always gives me a happy feeling because i will always love having life talks with them. i love how they always appreciate my views towards life and how they always boost my morale.. i love all my friends! 

here we are doing literally last-minute shopping for our gifts.. such responsible godparents! haha! :))

• easter sunrise. this is already a yearly activity for me. :) yay! i love going to church early in the morning, even before the sun rises! it's always a blessing and always inspires me to become a much better person because i represent Jesus Christ in all the things i do.. plus He sacrificed His own life for our sins, it's only fitting that we live our lives according to His own will.. He deserves all the praise and glory and it's our sole purpose in life, to bring them all in His feet in exchange to the liberty of knowing and experiencing firsthand His greatest love for us. ♥

• finishing eat, pray, love. i started this first week of march and for the whole month of april, this is the only book that kept me busy. imagine, only one book for two months? yikes.. it was a difficult book to read for me cuz i feel like i'm still too young to read such books. :| but all my reviews and some of my favourite passage will be in another entry. hopefully i get to finish it bilang dalawang buwan ko rin yung pinaghirapan basahin. :p

•   oh, she's amazing! she's crazily nice! haha! she's ma'am cathy and i included her here because just like what i said in my birthday greeting to her in facebook, she's one of the nicest people i know. :) she owns the other unit in our office building and she would always go to our office and make some chika chika.. i made her some birthday sign and she was so happy with it. there's nothing bad with her that's why she looks so young even though she's already in her 40's. bongga di ba? ayy she's so cute and funneh! :p

• royal wedding!!! oh gosh.. it was so kilig!!! grabe, fairy tales still do exist pa rin pala talaga.. haayyy.. kate really is  our generation's princess.. ang ganda ganda niya, sobra! i hope they do live happily ever after. sige na, si kate na ang tumupad ng pangarap nating lahat na mga babae. ♥ :)

• treats for myself overload! ang saya maging babae kahit na nga ang gastos! haha! 

• and finally, my upcat woes. haay. pano ba to? my due's until June 30 na lang. :| to go or not to go, that is the question.. i don't wanna plan on my own anymore. i lift all these things to You, Lord. You know what's best for me. :)

So this is what happened to me on the first month of summer. Nothing much. Couch potato pa din ako. :| Hopefully, I get to to go to the beach this summer bilang kelangan ko nang ma-detoxify lahat ng free radicals sa balat ko! Or pwede din sa swimming pool na lang. Gusto ko lang mag-swim dahil ang init, init na talaga!

Let God write your love story.

(So true. We just have to be grateful for these people who never gave up on us no matter how hard it is to love us sometimes. It's really nice to know that there are certain people in our lives who actually cared and who are willing to wait no matter how long or no matter how uncertain the future seems to be. It's heartwarming when you know that you are worthy of patience and appreciation of someone. God's ways are really beautiful.)

The title of this post came from sheenalovessunsets because she recently got engaged! Hooray! :) I have always been inspired by people who shares their own love story written by God. Sometimes, we tend to be impatient with everything that's going on in our lives that we set aside the Lord's plan for us. Sometimes, it's so much better to just indulge ourselves doing the things we think is right and good for us not thinking that God has prepared something much better for all of us and that He knows everything. He actually cares and involves Himself in our lives more than what we imagine or what we know. Isn't it amazing?

There are certain things that happened to my heart the last few weeks. I almost gave in to what my own emotions were saying, disregarding God's words over and over again. I kept on saying "pwede na" but He insists on saying "not yet". Thankfully, He also makes it a point that I obey His will and that is to stay patient with everything. He always makes me realize that He does all things beautifully in His own sweet time. All we have to do is to surrender to His will and keep on seeking His will in our lives. 

For now, it's safe to say that I already surrender everything to Him. From dreams, secret longings, aspirations to love life, I gave God my full trust and confidence. Where this will lead me, I will accept it all because I know there's a higher purpose in all of these.

THIS is what I love about tumbLr. I always thought I was the only one to do and think stupid things. Until I joined this site. It was really awesome like I feel I can spend my life forever just surfing so many wonderful and inspiring tumbLr blogs - from inspirational and happy things to kilig stuff to yummy food blogs to fashion inspirations. TumbLr just says exactly what I feel and think that's why I am so blessed that I get to know this amazing site. Imagine living your life facing computer the whole day with nothing to do (sometimes) then the only site you ever go to is facebook or google or youtube.. It's just so boring!! The picture above describes perfectly what almost every person in the world is doing before going to sleep.. TumbLr helps me realize that being a normal human being is, well, normal.. And seeing things you thought is weird is actually pretty normal to a lot of people. Example: 

When I saw this yesterday, I laughed so hard cuz I'm so guilty with this. :))) Hahaha! It makes me think tumbLr is really awesome! Oh yeah!
